A Japanese vintage porcelain small bowl from the mid to late Showa period, decorated using the inban transfer-printing technique.
The interior features a landscape motif, framed by a geometric border around the rim and floral decoration on the exterior. The softly scalloped form complements the decoration beautifully.
The gentle variations and slight bleeding characteristic of inban are part of its charm. There is plenty to appreciate in the decoration, yet it retains a simple, unpretentious character.
Each bowl varies slightly in the placement and tone of the decoration, as well as in its shape. Five pieces are available. Please feel free to contact us if you have a preference.

Condition: Minor variations including slight misalignment or bleeding of the decoration, kiln marks, light surface wear, and occasional small chips to the rim are present, but do not affect use. Please enjoy the quiet charm of a piece that has gently aged over time.
