A set of three tea bowls from Taizan Kiln, Kutani ware, each decorated with a different Karako (Chinese boy) motif in overglaze enamels. While Karako is a traditional design in Kutani ware, these figures are depicted with humorous and charming expressions, giving the bowls a particularly endearing character.
