A Japanese vintage stoneware tea cups set of five with gosu decoration from Ten Kiln.
Cobalt motifs are painted over a soft glaze surface. Stripes, grids, and floral-like patterns vary from one cup to another, creating subtle differences when arranged together.
Not particularly rare, but found as a complete set of five in very good condition, which made it hard to leave behind.
The rounded form and slightly elevated foot give a gentle presence. Suitable not only for tea, but also as small wine cups.
Size: each approx. Ø7.5 × H6cm
